Dr. Olenginski is a board-certified and fellowship-trained rheumatologist. After practicing and teaching medicine in Virginia for several years, Dr. Denio returned to Geisinger, in part, to fulfill his love of teaching by serving as director of the Geisinger Rheumatology Fellowship Program.|Dr. Denio said he was inspired to become a provider because of the “intellectual challenge of understanding our immune system and helping patients who have difficult challenging diseases.” He is a recipient of the Paulding Phelps Award from the American College of Rheumatology, given yearly to a clinical rheumatologist for outstanding service to patients, community and the practice of medicine. He also received the Medical Excellence Award from the Arthritis Foundation.|In his free time, Dr. Denio enjoys gardening and fishing.
