Overview
I practice infectious diseases (ID) medicine, which is the diagnosis and treatment of complex or unusual infections. My particular interests within ID are resistant gram negative infections (“superbugs”), mycobacterial infections like tuberculosis and how to improve antibiotic prescribing among all clinicians. When not in the clinic, I enjoy reading, particularly fantasy novels. As a former Michigan Marching Band trombone player you can also catch me cheering on the Wolverines (and the band) at a game. Otherwise, I spend my time baking and hanging out with my grandma.
