Dr. Mary Feng

Dr. Mary Feng is a radiation oncologist who cares for patients with cancers affecting organs of the abdomen and pelvis. In research, Feng aims to refine radiation therapy so that it's more effective and has fewer side effects through the use of advanced technologies and imaging techniques. Her work includes improving radiation treatment when used alone as well as in combination with chemotherapy and immunotherapy. As vice chair for clinical research in the Department of Radiation Oncology, Feng supervises and encourages innovative clinical trials at UCSF. As the medical director of the Clinical Research Network Office at the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, she helps local UCSF partners expand clinical trials into the community. Feng earned her medical degree at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She completed a residency in radiation oncology at the University of Michigan Hospitals.
