
Overview
Dr. Zinn is assistant professor of neurological surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and associate director of the Adult Neurosurgical Oncology Program. He specializes in neurosurgical oncology. Dr. Zinn received his medical degree from the University of Zurich in Switzerland and received his PhD from the University of Lausanne. He completed his neurosurgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine and MD Anderson Cancer Center. He then completed a fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School. Furthermore, Dr. Zinn is developing personalized biologically-adaptable and patient-tailored, virus-based therapies for brain cancer. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa., Dr. Wecht is board-certified in neurological surgery.
