Dr. Ian Pollack

Alessandro Paniccia, MD, FACS, is a surgical oncologist and specializes in pancreatic and hepatobiliary surgery. Dr. Paniccia's research interests include pancreatic cancer and hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Paniccia is board-certified in general surgery. He received his medical degree from Sapienza University of Rome in Italy. Dr. Paniccia completed residencies in general surgery at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and the University of Colorado. He completed a research fellowship at the University of Colorado, followed by a fellowship in complex surgical oncology at UPMC.
