Dr. Latha Pasupuleti

Latha Pasupuleti is a board-certified surgeon and is fellowship-trained in endocrine surgery. Dr. Pasupuleti obtained her undergraduate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She earned her medical degree and completed her general surgery residency at Rutgers University, where she was named Administrative Chief Resident in her final year. She then went on to complete her fellowship in endocrine surgery at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Pasupuleti is an expert in the management of endocrine surgical diseases (thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal disorders). She also has special interests in gallbladder disease, hernia disorders, and minimally invasive surgery. She has technical expertise in robotic adrenalectomy, minimally invasive thyroidectomy and parathyroidectomy, neck dissections for thyroid cancer, re-operative neck surgery and robotic and laparoscopic gallbladder and hernia surgery. In addition, she also performs surgeon-directed thyroid/parathyroid ultrasound and fine needle aspiration in the office. Dr. Pasupuleti is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. She is a member of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. When she is not working, Dr. Pasupuleti enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, fitness, photography, hiking, and traveling. Having surgery can be both physically and emotionally stressful. To me, being a good surgeon is not just about having meticulous technique, but also about guiding my patients through the entire surgical process. This includes answering all of their questions and concerns to put them at ease before surgery and helping them through the post-operative healing stage.
