David Parrish, M.D., was born in Lawrence, Kan. He received a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in 1988 (majoring in Spanish) and his M.D. degree from the University of Kansas in 1992, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed residency training in internal medicine and fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.Parrish is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
