"Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Buechel earned two undergraduate degrees in Biology and Spanish from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. She continued her education at Rutgers Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences with a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences and Doctor of Medicine degree from Rutgers Medical Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Buechel completed an internship in General Surgery at Rutgers NJMS, and a residency in Family and Community Medicine at Penn State Health in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Buechel’s clinical interests include the prevention of disease, improving medical literacy in the community and partnering with local resources to provide comprehensive care to my patients.""As a primary care physician, I understand that building a trusting relationship with my patients is essential.
