Dr. Craig O. Daniel

Dr. Craig Daniel had an interest in science at an early age which he transformed into a decades-long career as a board-certified general surgeon. He got his start in 1992 working in a surgical practice in his hometown of Odessa, Texas, and has since acquired extensive experience in acute care and trauma surgeries. He finds his ability to help a critically ill patient improve and heal to be one of the most gratifying reasons to be a surgeon. Dr. Daniel earned his medical degree and completed his general surgery residency while attending The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He has taken his expertise beyond the Texas borders to serve on 24 mission trips to Uganda. In 2006, he also established Mercy Trips Healthcare Outreach to give back to underserved communities. Dr. Daniel is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He and his wife of 40+ years have three grown children and four grandchildren.
