Dr. Rouch was born in a small community in Iowa before his family moved to Northern Indiana. He spent most of his early years outdoors exploring nature. He gained a true appreciation for science and the natural world.He attended Manchester University, in Indiana. While there he participated in a medical practicum in rural Costa Rica during a January term and found his passion for helping people and medicine. This life changing experience set him on the path to medical school.After college, Dr. Rouch attended Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. This was followed by an Internal Medicine residency, a General Cardiology Fellowship and an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Indiana University.After his fellowship, Dr. Rouch and his wife moved to Nashville, Tennessee to give her the opportunity to complete her Hematology Oncology Fellowship at Vanderbilt University. While in Nashville, he practiced Interventional Cardiology. After her fellowship was complete, they moved their young son and daughter to Indianapolis, Indiana to practice medicine in each of their respective areas of interest.Dr. Rouch and his family look forward to exploring the outdoors in Colorado with hiking, skiing, cycling, camping and many other activities.
