Hee Soo Jung, MD, FACS, FCCM, is a fellowship-trained trauma and acute care surgeon at UW Health and an associate professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Acute Care and Regional General Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where he also serves as program director of the Surgical Critical Care Fellowship.Dr. Jung treats people with critical injuries and illnesses, often during emergency situations. He is skilled in a wide range of medical services, including appendectomies, burn surgery, gallbladder removal, hernia repair and bowel surgery.Whether in the operating room, trauma bay or clinic, Dr. Jung works closely with other medical staff as part of a team to provide the best possible care for each patient.
