Julia W. Sheets, M.D., is a fellowship-trained hematology oncology physician, double board certified in oncology and hematology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Sheets earned her medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill. While conducting bone marrow transplant research, she developed a strong interest in oncology. She then completed an internal medicine residency and a hematology oncology fellowship at the University of North Carolina Hospitals, also in Chapel Hill.
