After earning her medical degree from the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Dr. Salmon completed an internal medicine residency at Christiana Care Hospital in Newark, Delaware. She also completed fellowship training in hematology and oncology at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Dr. Salmon was born and raised on the eastern shore of Maryland. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, relaxing at the beach, horseback riding and traveling.
