Dr. Magdalena M. Struk

My parents left Poland for the United States when I was five, and for the most part I grew up in Florida since then. I found my life’s direction as a teen volunteer at an orthopedic hospital for children. My experiences there taught me about the kind of impact I wanted to make in the future. Treating children is the most satisfying job possible. Their unique resilience inspires me. It’s an indescribable feeling to see a child get well, go home from the hospital and know that I played a major role — with a team of people — to make this happen. I care deeply about continuously growing as a physician and exploring new ways to help my patients. In medicine, there is always room to learn, research and look to the future I feel tremendous empathy for families when their child is in the hospital, as I understand this can be an incredibly stressful experience. One way I can help is to try to create a very good working relationship. I work hard to communicate clearly, explain the diagnosis, results and plan of care in an understandable way. Furthermore, I strive to make sure that all of the family’s needs are met.

Her clinical expertise encompasses Delayed Growth, Cerebral Hypoxia, Rasmussen Encephalitis, and Malnutrition.

Dr. Struk is board certified in American Board Of Pediatrics.
