He completed his residency in general surgery at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he was chief resident in his final year. His fellowship in colorectal surgery was performed at the Carle Clinic in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. About Dr. Williamson Dr. Williamson is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. Dr. Williamson is an associate professor of surgery at the University of Central Florida School of Medicine and also taught at the University of Florida. He has served as chairman of the Surgery Department at Orlando Health, chairman of the Surgical Quality Committee and is a member of the Credentials Committee. Outside of work, he enjoys basketball, golf, working out, traveling, spending time with family and volunteering at his church.
