Overview
I was a registered nurse with Park Nicollet for over two decades before returning to school to become a nurse practitioner. My experience has helped me to become a provider who values and practices critical thinking, team work, compassion and caring. I grew up in the Twin Cities area and currently live in Shakopee, Minnesota, with my husband, three kids and several furry friends. My interests outside of work include jogging, biking, traveling to sunny destinations and spending time with family and friends. I enjoy caring for patients with a variety of neurologic concerns, but have a special interest in epilepsy, stroke, and memory impairment. I work with both patients and families to help them understand their diagnosis in detail and help provide them with resources to manage current symptoms and to prevent recurrence or worsening. I enjoy developing caring, trusting, long-term relationships with my patients as many of these diagnoses need long term management.
