Thomas Y. Lee, MD, FACS, RPVI, is a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Dr. Lee is also certified as a registered physician in vascular interpretation (RPVI), which documents the highest standard in vascular ultrasound interpretation.With more than 20 years of experience in vascular surgery, Dr. Lee also has significant clinical research trial experience as a co-investigator for dozens of studies examining the safety and effectiveness of a wide variety of advanced aortic, carotid and thoracic stents and vascular graft systems. These trials include devices from a wide range of medical device manufacturers, as Dr. Lee seeks the best results for his patients. He has been published in multiple times peer-reviewed surgical journals and presented at national conferences.After earning his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine, New York, New York, Dr. Lee served as a junior resident in general surgery and as a research fellow in the Laboratory of Developmental Biology and Repair, before performing a senior residency in general surgery there. He was named administrative chief resident in general surgery. Dr. Lee then completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell University, also in New York City.Dr. Lee is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, American College of Surgery, American Association for Vascular Surgery, Morris County Medical Society, and the Medical Society of New Jersey. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
