After completing his military service, Dr. Gibson practiced at Southern Tennessee Heart & Vascular in Winchester, Tennessee. He is board certified in Cardiology and fully trained in Clinical & Invasive Cardiology, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the Society of Air Force Physicians, and American College of Physicians. He has written two books and in his spare time, Dr. Gibson enjoys travel, golf and fly fishing. Additionally, he loves fine wines. Having spent his childhood in the foothills of the Appalachians, Dr. Gibson's move to Blairsville represents something of a return to his roots.
