His duty stations included General Medical Officer for Carrier Air Group Five in Atsugi, Japan, and staff cardiologist at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Thel is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and interventional cardiology.
