Overview
Dr. Murthy grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where his father was a physician. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, he earned his medical degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Murthy completed his internal medicine internship/residency and cardiology fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
