Overview
Dr. Bashir received his training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, University of California, Irvine and the University of Colorado in Denver. Dr. Bashir is board-certified in the fields of Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. Additionally, Dr. Bashir has received specialized training in the performance of intracardiac echocardiography, percutaneous closure of patent foramen ovale and atrial septal defects, as well as valvuloplasty and nonsurgical septal reduction therapy for hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy. He has presented several studies at national cardiology meetings and has published many journal articles in major cardiology journals. Dr. Bashir's clinical skills are outstanding.
