She has received grant funding from the American Heart Association and remains involved with heart failure research with many active clinical trials and journal publications. Her clinical interests include heart failure and transplant cardiology, mechanical circulatory support, congenital heart disease, cardio-oncology, cardiac imaging and women's heart disease, including heart disease during pregnancy.In her spare time, Dr. Marti enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and playing tennis. Arun Krishnamoorthy, MD, earned his undergraduate degrees from the University of Georgia and his medical degree from Emory University in 2007. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas in 2010, also serving as a Chief Medicine Resident from 2010-2011. He completed his clinical and research fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease at Duke University and at the Duke Clinical Research Institute in 2015, with additional sub-specialty training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology from 2015-2016 also at Duke University. Dr. Krishnamoorthy is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. In his spare time, Dr. Krishnamoorthy enjoys ultimate frisbee, Atlanta college and professional sports, travel, and spending time with family.
