Overview
Dr. Loungani earned his medical degree at Medical University of South Carolina. He then completed his internal medicine residency in the Osler Medical Training Program at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He went on to complete fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology at Duke University Hospital. He also completed a research fellowship at the Duke Clinical Research Institute.
Dr. Loungani specializes in Cardiomyopathy, Advanced Heart Failure, and Cardiac Transplantation. He additionally has a special interest in caring for patients with Cardiac Amyloidosis. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, and most recently board certified in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. Dr. Dinsfriend earned his bachelors degree from Tufts University and earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, and completed an additional fellowship in advanced cardiovascular imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering and Weill Cornell Presbyterian hospitals. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), and Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging.Dr. Dinsfriend treats adult patients with cardiovascular disease and specializes in advanced cardiovascular imaging. He recently he has been exploring the Georgia mountains and the many parks and trails in the Atlanta area with his wife and two daughters.Dr. Blanco welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
