Erik J. Sirulnick, MD FACC FHRS received his medical degree from Brown University in Rhode Island and completed his internship and internal medicine residency training at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He is as of January 2020 nearing 15 years of clinical practice in Las Vegas, Nevada as an EP cardiologist. His current clinical practice involves the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, the performance of catheter ablation, device implantation and device lead management procedures. Over the past 15 years he has overseen the development of three comprehensive electrophysiology laboratories in Las Vegas, as well as a laser lead extraction program, LARIAT left atrial appendage ligation programs, a Stereotaxis remote navigation program, and he was the first Watchman left atrial appendage occlusion device implanter in Clark County after FDA device approval in 2016. He has performed catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation for over 15 years, including the use of the cryoballoon technology. He also is a MICRA leadless pacemaker implanter.He has provided leadership in a number of clinical research endeavors, and has been the site principal investigator for the aMAZE prospective clinical trial.
