I am a broad spectrum community general surgeon with a busy practice split between Hutchinson and Olivia. I have a strong background in minimally invasive surgery, gastrointestinal (GI) illness and cancer, breast disease and cancer, endocrine surgery, vein disease, and all types of hernias and skin conditions. I appreciate the practice in an outstate hospital because it demands a broad approach and surgical expertise that is different from our metro counterparts. I enjoy the practice in a small community because of the continuity of care. My philosophy of care is generally of coordination and cooperation with the patient, family and staff. We cannot achieve success unless we approach health as a team and work together.
