Dr. Ryan J. Brogan

I was born and raised in Michigan. Growing up, I always enjoyed science and math. The idea of working in a health field occurred to me later, while I was running cross country and track in college. In many ways, the dedication and discipline I learned as a runner laid the foundation for my career in medicine. My patients are fun, sincere and so trusting that it inspires me to be their best advocate. One of the many things I like about my job is the opportunity to have great conversations every day. I enjoy them all — from a cooing contest with a two-month-old to a discussion about a stressful high school situation with a teenager. Children deserve access to health care, and I work to provide equal and inclusive care. I feel a responsibility to do everything I can to make sure all the children I see get the care they need. By following the simple rule about treating the person — not just the illness. I also look for little opportunities that can change the hearts and minds of others when it comes to interacting with patients and families who are dealing with illness.

His clinical expertise encompasses Malnutrition, Kawasaki Disease, Rasmussen Encephalitis, and Delayed Growth.

Dr. Brogan is board certified in American Board Of Pediatrics. He is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 3 peer reviewed articles.
