In addition, Dr. Fortunato offers state-of-the-art treatment for fecal incontinence, complex rectovaginal fistulas, pilonidal disease, hemorrhoids, and other problems. Dr. Fortunato earned his medical degree at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania, and completed his general surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Presbyterian Hospital. He then completed a colon and rectal fellowship at Louisiana State University/ Schumpert Medical Center and has been in practice since 2010.
