Dr. Swaminath is a highly skilled electrophysiologist with more than 8 yrs of experience specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of complex heart rhythm disorders, Dr. Swaminath is renowned for expertise in catheter ablation, implantable cardiac devices (such as pacemakers and defibrillators), and the management of atrial fibrillation and ventricular arrhythmias.
After earning a medical degree from Stanley Medical College .Dr. Swaminath completed a residency in Internal Medicine at TTUHSC and a fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Yale School of Medicine.
Dr. Swaminath is board-certified in cardiology and Cardiac electrophysiology and an active member of professional organizations like the Heart Rhythm Society ([HRS]), American College of Cardiology ([ACC]). He is dedicated to advancing the field of electrophysiology in West Texas through building a comprehensive high quality electrophysiology program, establishing fellowship training program in Electrophysiology at TexasTech and published numerous papers in cardiology. He has clinic in Lubbock and Permian Basin.
