While there I was able to personally see how much of a role the physicians and nurses played in the lives of the children and that feeling is what drew me toward medicine. | Community involvement | Throughout my career I have volunteered in clinics for those in homeless shelters. I have also participated in church and community health screenings and events. | Personal interests | Outside of my medical/research interests, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.
