My clinical interests include the diagnosis, treatment, and management of colorectal diseases of all kind, including colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis and anorectal problems. I have special training and interests in the treatment of colorectal malignancies, including advanced colon and rectal cancers, sphincter-preserving surgery, recurrent cancers and peritoneal metastases, as well as carcinoid tumors, heritable colorectal cancer syndromes, and anal cancer. My research interests include evaluating the patient-centered outcomes after surgery for rectal cancers, including the functional outcomes and the impact of minimally invasive and robotic techniques.

Dr. Ty Dunn is surgical director of the kidney and pancreas transplant programs and a professor of surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her surgical focus is on kidney, pancreas and islet transplantation, and living kidney donation.
