Overview
A native of North Carolina, Dr. Quinn received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received the NIEHS Intramural Research Training Award and the Burroughs Wellcome Summer Research Fellowship. He completed his internship/residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Quinn returned to Columbus, where he served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and Medical Director of Endoscopy. During his appointments there, Dr. Quinn served on a number of collegiate/medical center committees. He was an invited lecturer on a variety of gastrointestinal topics. Dr. Quinn is trained in both diagnostic and advanced therapeutic endoscopic techniques including ERCP. He is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease and the American Motility Society. Dr. Quinn joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2006.
