Moved to Quito, Ecuador to learn Spanish and received medical degree from the Universidad Internacional del Ecuador. Completed residency training and served as co-chief resident in the Department of Family Medicine at Indiana University Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Serves on Advisory Committee for the Advancement of LGBTQ+ Health at Michigan Medicine.Dr. Abou-Arab is fluent in Spanish and Arabic.
