Dr. Francisco E. Parrilla-Quinones

Dr. Francisco Parrilla-Quinones is a board-certified and fellowship-trained cardiologist with the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. He has a special interest in cardiovascular diseases and nuclear cardiology, and he is skilled in diagnosing and managing: Arterial hypertension Atherosclerotic disease Congestive heart failure Cardiac arrhythmia Syncope and fainting syndromes Heart valve disease Echocardiography Holter monitoring Exercise and pharmacologic stress test Advanced electrocardiographic interpretations Dr. Parrilla-Quinones strives to have clear communication with patients, making sure they understand their medical conditions. He believes cardiologists play an important role in providing individuals with strategies to prevent the development of cardiovascular disease. Dr. Parrilla-Quinones’ Training Dr. Parrilla-Quinones attended college and medical school and received his post-graduate training in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He studied biology at the University of Puerto Rico’s Rio Piedras campus and earned his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, graduating magna cum laude from both institutions. He completed his residency in internal medicine at University District Hospital and his fellowship in cardiology at the Cardiovascular Center of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. About Dr. Parrilla-Quinones Dr. Parrilla-Quinones is board certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine and in nuclear cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology. Outside of work, Dr. Parrilla-Quinones enjoys sports. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

His clinical expertise encompasses Hypertensive Heart Disease, High Cholesterol, Angina, and Pediatric Myocarditis.

Dr. Parrilla-Quinones is board certified in American Board Of Nuclear Cardiology, American Board Of Internal Medicine, and American Board Of Internal Medicine - Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Parrilla-Quinones is currently accepting new patients.
