My biological father was a scientist who was, shortly after I was born, able to accurately predict an impending natural disaster. Unfortunately he was ultimately unable to prevent its devastating impact on our community but the effort was not lost on me. Trying to live up to his legacy is one of the main reasons I have decided to devote my life to helping others.What I want my patients to know about me:The values instilled in me by my adoptive parents, who raised me in Kansas, will always be with me and are in fact what primarily motivate me.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I am interested in true crime journalism and flying (I hope to one day have the time to get a pilot's license).
