He attended medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his internship in Tucson and then spent three years at the University of Alabama at Birmingham specializing in dermatology. During his final year of residency, Dr. Innes was selected to be the Senior Chief Resident and was given the Walter P. Little Resident-of-the-Year Award for his “dedication to patient care, leadership, and academic excellence.” Dr. Innes enjoys boating, skiing, snowboarding, golf, eating out, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Natalie, and their kids. “I love being back in Utah,” he states. “There aren't many places where you can ski on great snow in the winter and great water in the summer!”.
