Overview
A graduate of Rice University, with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and pre-med, Dr. Grover worked at NASA before he received his medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School. He completed his residency training in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he received the Resident Teaching Award. He then completed fellowships in cardiology at UTHealth and interventional cardiology at the University of Louisville Health Science Center in Kentucky. Board certified in both internal medicine and cardiology, Dr. Grover has clinical interests in general and preventive cardiology, cardiac catheterization and interventions, echocardiogram, nuclear stress test, pacemakers, defibrillators, angioplasty and stents. In practice in Houston since 2000, he treats patients12 years and older and his office staff speaks Spanish and Vietnamese. Dr. Grover’s practice philosophy centers on providing excellent and thorough care to his patients. He believes in spending as much time with each as needed and in patient education. A resident of Houston, Dr. Grover is married and has two daughters. He enjoys playing tennis, traveling, reading and conversing with people he meets.
