Dr. Douglas L. Fraker

Alexander Shifrin, MD, is an endocrine surgeon with Atlantic Medical Group Surgical Associates of CentraState and surgical director, CentraState Endocrine Program. He is board-certified in surgery by the American Board of Surgery, and in endocrine neck ultrasound and ultrasound-guided thyroid biopsy by the American College of Endocrinology. In addition, he is the first endocrine surgeon in the United States to have board certification in endocrine surgery (FEBS), a designation available only through the European Board of Surgery.
