Dr. Doughan received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon, where he also completed his internship. From Lebanon, he came to Emory University School of Medicine in 2002 to complete his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship. His clinical and research interests are in the field of hypertension, heart failure with preserved ejection fraction and cardiovascular magnetic resonance perfusion imaging.In his spare time, Dr. Kuruvilla enjoys spending time with his family, reading books, watching documentaries and playing tennis.
