Dr. Curtis Wray received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Ohio and fellowship in surgical oncology at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Board certified in Surgery, Dr. Wray specializes in general surgery and surgical oncology. His clinical interests include traditional as well as minimally invasive surgery for gastric, liver, pancreatic and colorectal cancers. An associate professor of surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston, Dr. Wray has published numerous peer-reviewed research publications. He is currently president of the Houston Surgical Society and belongs to professional groups including the Society of Surgical Oncology, American College of Surgeons, American Association of Cancer Research, Society of University Surgeons, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract, Association for Academic Surgery and the American Hepatico-Pancreatico-Biliary Association.
