Dr. Joel S. Kneitz

Dr. Kneitz is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician specializing in comprehensive patient care, medical leadership, and operational excellence. With extensive experience in both clinical practice and medical directorship, Dr. Kneitz has a strong focus on optimizing healthcare delivery, managing complex healthcare systems, and fostering clinician development. His clinical interests include weight management and male wellness, alongside his broad expertise in internal medicine. Dr. Kneitz provides care in diverse settings, including large medical management organizations and private practices.Dr. Kneitz began practicing medicine in 1996 and joined WellMed Medical Management in December 2021 before transitioning to his current role. His areas of focus include population health management, clinician oversight and development, and the financial and operational aspects of large-scale healthcare systems.
