Overview
A fellowship-trained neurophysiologist, Dr. Tomi Ashaye received her medical degree from Chicago Medical School of the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Sciences in Illinois. She went on to complete her residency training in neurology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, where she served as co-chief neurology resident, where she also completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology. Board certified in neurology, clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy, Dr. Ashaye has clinical interests in general neurology, including stroke, plus multiple sclerosis and neuromuscular disease as well as epilepsy diagnosis and treatment. Part of McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, Dr. Ashaye is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Epilepsy Society. Before moving to Houston, she was named one of Chicago Magazine’s Top Doctors in 2020.
