Overview

A native of Indiana, Dr. Lucas moved to Phoenix in 1992, establishing his practice at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center where he was the medical director of radiation oncology services prior to joining Arizona Oncology in November 2008. Dr. Lucas has extensive experience with the utilization of advanced technologies including image guided radiation therapy (IGRT), intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and brachytherapy. He also has extensive experience with brachytherapy for the treatment of gynecologic and breast diseases, including the use of various applicators for accelerated partial breast irradiation (APBI). Additional special interests include treatment of prostate, lung and colorectal tumors well as brain tumors and sarcomas.   Dr. Lucas is a published writer and speaker on various radiation topics.To help people achieve health for life.
