Dr. Joseph Loscalzo is physician-in-chief at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). A cardiovascular medicine specialist, he is also the Samuel A. He is also the editor-in-chief of Circulation—the journal of the American Heart Association—a senior editor of Harrison’s Principles of Internal Medicine, a member of the Advisory Council of the National Heart, Lung and Blood Instutite, as well as a member of the Council of Councils of the National Institutes of Health.
