Dr. Pavel Levin

Dr. Pavel Levin earned his medical degree and a PhD from McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Levin, who has been in practice since 2011, is board certified in three areas: internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. His primary clinical interests are gastrointestinal (GI), genitourinary (GU) and lung oncology; chronic leukemias; and myeloma. He treats adult patients (18 years old and older) and speaks Russian. His practice offers a friendly, family-like atmosphere where patients receive specialized, compassionate care and appointments are scheduled promptly. Patients appreciate the close, personal and undivided attention they receive. Dr. Levin is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and American Medical Association. Prior to coming to Houston, he practiced in Dallas at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Parkland Hospital and the VA North Texas Health Care System. A resident of Friendswood, Dr. Levin is married and the father of two sons. He enjoys playing classical guitar in his leisure time.
