He is a Professor of Surgery (Plastic) and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Washington.Dr. Susarla is an internationally-recognized expert in pediatric and adult craniomaxillofacial reconstructive surgery. His clinical practice includes management of congenital craniofacial differences such as cleft lip and palate, craniosynostosis, and craniofacial syndromes as well as secondary craniomaxillofacial reconstruction.Dr. Susarla completed his medical degree (MD) at Harvard Medical School and his dental degree (DMD) at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
