Overview

I decided early on to follow family tradition and become a physician. My father was a physician and my brother and I both followed in his footsteps. I became a gastroenterologist because it's a very challenging and hands-on specialty. The endoscopic ultrasound procedures I perform are a very rewarding part of my job as they allow me to help make diagnoses to prevent and sometimes solve serious problems for my patients. I enjoy working with my patients and getting to know them. I always strive to be friendly, open and easily approachable. My free time is mostly spent with family, especially my young son - just playing and taking him to the park when the weather permits. I am a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE).
