Dr. Carter is an assistant professor of surgery and an OU Health physician working in partnership with the Crohn's and Colitis Center at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital. Dr. Carter graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma. He earned his medical degree and completed residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Dr. Carter finished a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health in Dallas, Texas.
