He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Whitworth has over 30 years of experience in general surgery. With a focus on minimizing pain and risk associated with surgery, he is adept at breast cancer, thyroid and parathyroid surgeries, as well as laparoscopic procedures involving the intestines, stomach and colon.
