Stepan Crenguta, MD, received her medical degree from the University of Medicine, Bucharest, Romania and then she underwent one year residency in Bucharest; she pursued a research career at University of Washington for another year before enrolling in internal medicine; she completed her residency in internal medicine at the Spokane Internal Medicine Residency Program (UW affiliated program). Dr. Stepan enjoys the challenges of internal medicine and her particular focus is on chronic disease management (COPD, diabetes, cardiovascular disease). Preventive medicine is another strong interest with the emphasis on evidence-based screening tests.
