She then completed her medical degree at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and residency training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She completed her gynecologic oncology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She joined the faculty as an assistant professor in 2018. She serves on national committees for both the Society of Gynecologic Oncology and NRG Oncology.
